"Ohio International Market Access Grant for Exporters"
Pat Perrin, Ohio Department of Development

You are invited to join us for the next "Going Global" International Trade Forum. Our speaker will be Pat Perrin of the Ohio Department of Development who will discuss the exciting new "IMAGE" program. We begin at 7:30 a.m. and will end by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9th. We meet at Kent State University at Tuscarawas in Room 113 of the Science and Advanced Technology Center. The campus is located at 330 University Drive N.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided and there is no charge to attend.

In today's highly competitive global marketplace, "IMAGE" will help Ohio firms seize global opportunities by providing matching grants up to $6,000 for qualified export activities. Pat Perrin will provide the details of the program. Pat joined the Ohio Department of Development's Office of Export Assistance in March 1998 as Business Manager, responsible for the budgeting and accounting functions for the Columbus and international offices. In 2008, as Global Finance Manager, he assumed the responsibility of the Export Finance Initiative, assisting businesses to obtain export financing, working capital financing, and export credit insurance. Previously, he served The Ohio State University for 11 years, managing accounting for eight development projects in Asia and Africa. Perrin received his MBA from the University of Dayton and BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Delaware State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an alumnus of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Please join us on March 9th and learn more about the role that IMAGE will play in promoting Ohio exports.
