About the ProgramThe Biobased Product Marketing Workshop will provide an overview to develop a marketing plan that supports efforts in marketing/selling biobased products to federal, state and local governments.
Program Objectives
• Identify and review market opportunities to grow your business with biobased products
• Review the Biopreferred registration process
• Evaluate internal strengths, weaknesses and external opportunities and threats
• Review the buying process common to local and state governments and institutions
• Review the steps to construct an actionable marketing plan
Intended Outcomes
• To understand market segments within local and state government entities
• To know the potential barriers, and needed resources for market possibilities
• To understand the value elements that influence purchase decisions
• Determine appropriate strategies and tactics to reach target markets with biobased products

SBA Resource Training Program Begins at Braintree Mansfield, OH - Local entrepreneurs looking forresources to assist in both thier business start-up and looking for help to grow and maintain thier business, gathered at the Braintree Business Development Center Wedsnesday Morning April 20th. The Small Business Administration is conductiong a 6 part series the first of which was held on Wednesday. This series will explore the many resources most at no cost to the business owner that are avaialable in the region. The first session showcased the programs available through the local Small Business Development Centers, SCORE and Braintree. Additional topics covered were how the area Economic Development groups, Chambers of Commerce, area community organizations and educational institutions provide services to the entrepreneurial community. Additional sessions will be held the second Wednesday of each month and will cover topics ranging from legal issues, insurance, accounting, capital funding, credit awareness and help, and additional government resources.
