Topic: Doing Business with United Kingdom
Speaker: David Silk of SGI Global Business Advisors

We are pleased to invite you to join us at the next "Going Global" International Trade Forum. Our March forum features a presentation by David Silk about doing business with United Kingdom. It begins at 7:30 a.m. and will end by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010. We meet at Kent State University Tuscarawas in room 113 of the Science and Advanced Technology Center. The campus is located at 330 University Drive, New Philadelphia, 44663. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. There is no charge to attend.

England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland represent some of the U.S.'s most lucrative trading partners, and a common language makes United Kingdom a popular destination for early-stage exporters. David Silk is Chairman Emeritus of the British American Chamber of Commerce Great Lakes Region, is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and the first Foreign Legal Consultant to be licensed by the Supreme Court of Ohio. He is the Principal of Cleveland-based Silk & Co., whose practice concentrates on International Law and is also one of the founding partners of SGI Global Business Advisors, a consulting firm established in 2003 to work on behalf of public and private sector clients including municipalities, chambers of commerce, business development organizations, and private clients on international business and economic development initiatives. Mr. silk will also discuss the upcoming trade mission to UK scheduled for June.

Please RSVP to the ITAC office by Noon Wednesday, March 10th.
